2023: Fulani herdsmen are the enemies and unknown gunmen killing in Enugu State, Jim Nwobodo a failure – Edeoga

The governorship candidate of Labour Party in Enugu State, Chijioke Edeoga, has accused Fulani herdsmen as responsible for the killings in the state and the entire South East, promising to declare war against them if he wins.

Edeoga, who was caught sleeping and snoring at a town-hall meeting held by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, titled, “Enthronement of Good Governance Through the Action of the Laity and the State Executives” berated Miyetti Allah for posing as unknown gunmen and Eastern Security Network to kill Igbo people in the zone.

He, however, said he would drive them out of Enugu State when he comes into office as governor and kill them if they refuse to leave.

The snoring candidate admitted that he has no manifesto but would visit all the communities in Enugu State when he wins and present his programmes to them.

Edeoga, who also accused Jim Nwobodo for failing as governor of the state to provide water which is now haunting him.

“Jim Nwobodo couldn’t provide water for his people in Amechi Awkunanaw, and now he is suffering the consequences. The last time I visited him, Jim Nwobodo and his family were drinking alum water,” he claimed.

Mr. Edeoga who boasted that he gave Olusegun Obasanjo, former Nigerian president, a bloody fight, added that the federal government frustrated him from attracting any project to his people.

He vowed that he would return all the lands he seized from his people once elected.
