The Ezeagu Tourist Complex is in the south-central part of the State and has an unimaginable beauty.

The complex has a waterfall, a three-kilometer cave, a natural spring, and a lake.

The waterfall, called ‘Ogbagada,’ is about 23 meters high and falls from an awe-inspiring cliff with a unique, thunderous sound.

The site’s splendor is expressed by the almost 5 kilometers long Obinofia cave, whose size and compartments are awe-striking.

It has several tunnels heading out in different directions.

Some of the tunnels are inter-connected, often opening up into large chambers.

These chambers are two to three meters high and up to ten meters wide.

The Cave is naturally sculpted in limestone and decorated by an enchanting waterfall dropping from a small opening at the roof.

Awhum waterfall is in Amaugwe village of Awhum town close to Awhum Monastery in Udi LGA, few kilometers away from the city.

The fall is about 30 meters high and people believe it has therapeutic effects due to its proximity to the Monastery.

Opi lake system are group of lakes situated in the town of Opi in Enugu State. Opi lake system are nine lakes which are connected to one another to form a network. The lakes are Iyi-ikpa, Varavara, Ogeleube, Iyiuga, Isiogba, Ojii, Orufu, Adekwegbe, Okpo, (the largest among the lakes are ojii and Adekwebge ). Ojii is located at Ugwu-ozioko and is about 9m deep and 7km wide. Its depth and width enables the smooth movement of locally made canoe from one end to another. The nine Lakes are a tourist attraction in Opi because of its natural environment.

You can access it from Nkpologu community in Uzo Uwani, Lejja in Nsukka, Igbo Etiti via Ogbede and Akpakunme Nze in Udi via Akpugo community.
